Job Position: Financial Business Partner

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description 
Accountant:
Monthly and annual accounting closing:

  1. Ensure accurate writing of main accounting procedures and other financial data
  2. Ensure seamless accounts reconciliation on Sage
  3. Ensure compliance to relevant local finance laws and regulations
  4. Preparation and maintenance of financial reports.
  5. Recording, reporting and analyzing cost data of the company
  6. Budget monitoring and monthly reconciliations
  7. Monthly and annual tax and social declaration.
  8. P&L, working capital and cash Forecasts (budget N+1, Updates and 3 years plan)
  9. Tax, social and exchange regulation monitoring.
  10. Cash monitoring with the monthly bank and cash reconciliation
  11. Insurance and tax audit follow up
  12. Management and follow-up of brand administrative requirements such as NAFDAC

HR Support:

  1. Liaising with the Head office HR team to manage local employees (agreement, payroll)
  2. drafting of administrative documents related to the employment of employees
  3. Collaborating with GDN Immigration consultant for expatriate staff

Responsibility Level:

  1. Functional relationship: Finance Deputy Director
  2. Team Management: No

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Finance / Accounting, level +3
  • Professional experience: ACCA, ICAN
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in the desired field

Knowledge:

  1. Financial and accounting background.
  2. Pack office (Word, Excel).
  3. NTIC.
  4. Local law.
  5. Labor law.
  6. Payroll and taxes management.
  7. Compensation management Dashboard.
  8. Social legislation.

  1. Proactive in terms of recommendations and presentation readability.
  2. You set up control procedures adapted to the tax requirements and follow their application.
