Bosak Microfinance Bank Limited was incorporated in December 2009 with the business objective of providing financial service to micro clients who were excluded from the mainstream financial system. It commenced operations in June 2010 upon obtaining a Unit Microfinance Banking License from the Central Bank of Nigeria. It later obtained a State Microfinance Banking License in 2016. Bosak Microfinance Bank Limited’s financial inclusion effort focuses on promoting savings culture, access to credit facilities for income-generation purposes, and reducing vulnerability to risk through microinsurance.

Job Description

  1. Promptness in Posting of Transactions
  2. Income Statement and Balance Sheet Review
  3. Weekly/Monthly Bank Reconciliations
  4. Preparing General Ledger Reconciliation
  5. Monthly Update of Fixed Asset Register
  6. Preparing Monthly Journals
  7. PAYE/WHT Remittances, Receipts documentation
  8. Raising Internal Memos
  9. Preparing Monthly Management Account
  10. Raising Monthly Journals

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Candidates with ICAN Certification would be an added advantage.
  2. Proven work experience with 2-3 years Banking experience
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
  5. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, tech-oriented environment.
