Job Position: Financial Controller
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Requirements

  1. Minimum of a First Degree in Accounting;
  2. A Master’s (MBA/MSc Finance/Economics) is an advantage
  3. ACA/ACCA certification is mandatory
  4. Minimum of 10 years’ progressive finance or accounting experience, including audit firm exposure
  5. At least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial finance role
  6. Experience in construction, property, or facilities management is an advantage
  7. Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, taxation, budgeting, and financial modelling
  8. Expertise in treasury management, risk assessment, and ERP/financial systems (SAP, Sage, ERPNext)
  9. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  10. Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with corporate goals
  11. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring across business units
  12. Manage treasury operations, cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships
  13. Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and tax regulations
  14. Coordinate annual audits and statutory filings
  15. Partner with business units to track profitability, ROI, and project viability
  16. Strengthen internal controls, governance, and risk management frameworks
  17. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
