Job Position: Financial Officer – FMCG (NYSC)

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  1. As a Financial Officer, you will be an integral part of our finance team during your Youth Service.
  2. You will assist in various financial tasks, gaining hands-on experience in financial management and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Job Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping:

  1. Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  2. Assist in the documentation and filing of financial transactions.

Budget Assistance:

  1. Support the finance team in budget preparation and monitoring.
  2. Help analyze budget variances and provide input for adjustments.

Expense Management:

  1. Process and record company expenses.
  2. Assist in verifying and reconciling employee expense reports.

Banking Transactions:

  1. Facilitate routine banking transactions.
  2. Reconcile bank statements and address discrepancies.

Financial Reporting:

  1. Generate basic financial reports.
  2. Assist in preparing financial statements for internal use.

Compliance Support:

  1. Learn and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  2. Assist in preparing documentation for audits.

Collaborative Projects:

  1. Collaborate with team members on finance-related projects.
  2. Provide support in various financial initiatives.

Professional Development:

  1. Actively engage in training opportunities provided.
  2. Stay informed about financial industry trends and best practices.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Currently serving as a Youth Corp member in Nigeria.
  3. Basic understanding of financial principles.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
