Job Description

  1. We are the Dangote Cement Plc, one of Nigeria’s most diversified manufacturing conglomerates, and we’re seeking a Fleet HR Manager to join our Dangote Cement Transport Team.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Handles all fleet administrative activities.
  2. Manages fleet database on trucks and drivers
  3. Review all administrative cases when necessary.
  4. Supervise the activities of the HR Fleet Officers.
  5. Keeps updated records of current staff and drivers.
  6. Daily reconciliation of trucks and drivers’ status
  7. Keep update records of drivers on awaiting tyres
  8. Keep update records of drivers on minor and major repairs
  9. Reconcile trucks and drivers on payroll monthly.
  10. Removal of idle drivers from payroll (three-month inactivity)
  11. Responsible for the follow up on driver and staff welfare in terms of salary/waybill payment.
  12. Handles drivers and staff appointment confirmation.
  13. Handling all leave matters for drivers and Fleet Operations staff.
  14. Preparing monthly activity report for the best-performing drivers in the fleet.
  15. Any other duties as assigned by the Head HAM/ADMIN

Job Requirements

  1. BSc / HND in Management or related discipline, MSc is an added advantage
  2. Minimum of 10 Years working experience in Human resources
  3. Proficient in MS Office package
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  5. Ability to build rapport with employees and Management.
  6. Proficiency in oral and written English.
