Job Description

  1. We are seeking a skilled Fleet Officer to join our team. As a Fleet Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and operations of our fleet, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards. This is a key role that requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  2. Your expertise in fleet management and logistics processes will be vital in streamlining operations, reducing costs, and improving overall performance.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the day-to-day management of the company’s fleet of vehicles
  2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet utilization and reduce downtime
  3. Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards
  4. Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs of company vehicles
  5. Analyze data and generate reports to continuously monitor and improve fleet performance
  6. Bring in new vehicles to the fleet
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet management and transportation
  8. Register and license all vehicles under their management
  9. Find ways to cut costs and maximize profits
  10. You will be responsible for bringing in new vehicles to the fleet
  11. Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiency
  12. Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection

Job Requirements

  1. Proven experience as fleet officer
  2. Excellent knowledge of transportation regulations
  3. Strong proficiency in fleet management software and other relevant tools
  4. Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  6. Must have knowledge of E-hailing
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  9. Applicant should reside within Ikeja and it environs.
