Job Position: Fondant Cake Decorator
Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design, bake, and decorate cakes using fondant and other decorating techniques.
  2. Create customised cake designs according to client requests and event themes.
  3. Ensure high standards of cake finishing, detailing, and presentation.
  4. Mix, colour, roll, and sculpt fondant into various shapes and decorations.
  5. Collaborate with clients to bring their cake concepts and inspirations to life.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the baking and decorating area.
  7. Ensure timely delivery of orders without compromising on quality.
  8. Stay updated on new cake decorating trends, techniques, and tools.
  9. Manage inventory of baking and decorating supplies, ensuring availability for orders.
  10. Adhere to food safety and quality standards at all times.

Requirements

  1.  Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc Degree
  2. Minimum of 3–5 years’ proven experience as a fondant cake decorator.
  3. Strong creativity and artistic skills with attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work on themed cakes, wedding cakes, and custom designs.
  5. Knowledge of current cake decorating trends and techniques.
  6. Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  7. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  8. Portfolio of previous fondant cake work will be an added advantage.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
