PalmPay is an Africa-focused fintech firm, launched in 2019. PalmPay is a mobile payments platform that offers several financial services.

Job Position: Front Desk / Admin Officer
Location: Nigeria

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for greeting visitors and guests – directing them to the appropriate staff member
  2. Responsible for scheduling appointments and managing calendar coordination
  3. Responsible for the preparation of correspondence, presentations, email communications, and Excel spreadsheets
  4. Collects and reconciles reimbursement requests for payments
  5. Responsible for all telephone and electronic communications
  6. Oversee office running budget while maintaining a professional image of the organisation at all times
  7. Responsible for providing answers to inquiries about the organisation and providing information such as the company’s address and directions to the company’s location, etc
  8. Manage all orders, maintain office supplies, and record files
  9. Responsible for accepting and delivering letters and packages to appropriate personnel and departments.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of two years’ experience as a Front Desk Officer or Administrative Assistant
  2. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or any related field of study
  3. Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  4. Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks
  5. Ability to coordinate several projects to successful completion with little or no supervision
  6. Excellent communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
  7. Ability to respond promptly to shifts in direction, priorities and schedules
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners and staff at all levels.
