Job Position: Frontend Developer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Front-End Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
  • You will work closely with the design and back-end development teams to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive user experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop new user-facing features and enhance existing ones using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to improve usability.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications function across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as ReactJS.
  • Knowledge of state management libraries, particularly Redux.
  • Proficiency with Tailwind CSS for styling.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of back-end technologies and APIs is a plus.
