Job Position: Frontend Developer

Job Description

  1. As a Frontend Developer at onfleekQ, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing the user interface of our on-demand beauty platform.
  2. This fully on-site role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with our team and contribute to the evolution of our platform.
  3. Please note that this is an ONSITE role in ABUJA.
  4. No Remote, No Hybrid. DO NOT apply if your preference is remote or hybrid.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain the frontend of onfleekQ’s web and mobile applications using modern frontend technologies and frameworks.
  2. Implement user interface components and features to enhance the usability and functionality of the platform.
  3. Collaborate with designers and backend developers to ensure seamless integration of frontend components with backend services.
  4. Optimize application performance and responsiveness for various devices and screen sizes.
  5. Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality and bug-free code.
  6. Stay updated on front-end development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features and enhancements on time and within scope.

Key Deliverables
Responsive User Interface:

  1. Development of responsive and user-friendly interfaces for onfleekQ’s web and mobile applications.
  2. Feature Implementation:
  3. Implementation of frontend features and components to enhance the platform’s functionality and usability.

Codebase Maintenance:

  1. Maintenance and optimization of frontend codebase to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  2. Collaboration and Communication:
  3. Effective collaboration with designers, backend developers, and other team members to deliver high-quality frontend solutions.

Output:

  1. Enhanced user interface and experience for onfleekQ’s web and mobile applications.

Job Requirements

  1. Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing frontend projects and expertise.
  3. Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  4. Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  5. Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  8. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  9. Familiarity with frontend build tools and preprocessors (e.g., Webpack, Sass).
  10. Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) is a plus.
