Job Position: Full Stack Developer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop modules for applications within a micro-service-based framework using JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and other similar languages.
  2. Employ Agile software methodology to liaise with customers and the development team and define and acquire requirements.
  3. Develop front-end and back-end services for web-based applications.
  4. Integrate UI and API microservices with NoSQL and SQL databases including MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
  5. Actively troubleshoot and resolve performance issues as reported by customers and Support teams.
  6. Offer nuanced insight in support of performance test strategy across multiple products
  7. Design, create, and maintain load and performance test scripts using NeoLoad and other performance test tools.

Job Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a Full stack Software Engineer (5 years minimum)
  2. Must have completed the compulsory 1-year NYSC or have an exemption certificate
  3. Extensive experience in software development, scripting and Agile methodology
  4. Ability to work independently
  5. Experience using DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps and Automated Testing Frameworks
  6. Knowledge of selected programming languages (e.g., Asp.net Core, C#).
  7. In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. Cosmos DB, MongoDB)
  8. Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows and Unix)
  9. Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  10. Ability to work independently
  11. Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  12. BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
  13. Develop high-quality software design and architecture
  14. Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
  15. Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
  16. Experience in software development, scripting, Agile and Scrum methodology
  17. C-Descendant Languages: C-Sharp, Java Development Stack, Python, Flutter, Development Stack
  18. Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
  19. Review and debug code
  20. Perform validation and verification testing
  21. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
  22. Document development phases and monitor systems
  23. Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies
  24. Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  25. Write well-designed, testable code
