Job Description
- Uwana Energy is dedicated to driving innovation in the energy sector by developing cutting-edge solutions. We are seeking a talented Full-stack Developer with expertise in Node.js and Next.js to join our dynamic team.
- This role requires a developer who can design and implement both client-side and server-side architecture while adhering to industry standards, privacy, and security requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement client-side and server-side architecture.
- Write efficient, transparent, and well-documented code that meets industry regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with designers, stakeholders, and product owners to define, design, and implement new features in existing software solutions.
- Optimise and tune the performance of existing Next.js and Node.js applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Ensure proper adherence to privacy and security standards.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in Next.js and Node.js development.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Optimise applications for speed and scalability.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Full-stack Developer with expertise in Node.js and Next.js.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and implementing data protection measures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms is a plus
