Job Position: Fullstack Engineer
Job Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using React, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, and FastAPI.
- API Development and Security: Build and secure RESTful APIs, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure. Perform API security testing to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Cloud Integration: Work with AWS services including Lambda, S3, and Redis to build serverless applications and manage data storage.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process. Ensure that code is tested and deployed efficiently and securely.
- Containerization: Use Docker for containerizing applications to ensure consistent environments across development, testing, and production.
- Unit Testing and Test Automation: Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality.
- Implement automated testing to streamline the development process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and technologies.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks, and debug and optimize existing systems to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all code and development processes.
Job Requirements
- Over 5 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer or in a similar role.
- Frontend: Proficient in React and JavaScript, with a solid grasp of modern frontend development practices.
- Backend: Extensive experience with Node.js, Python, and FastAPI, and a strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and Redis.
- Containerization: Proficient in Docker for containerizing applications and managing deployment environments.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Testing: Strong background in unit testing, API security testing, and test automation.
- Security: Knowledge of API security best practices and experience implementing them.
- Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative workflows (e.g., GitFlow).
