Job Position: Fundraising Consultant

Job Location: Abuja

Job Description

  1. The Fundraising Consultant will provide valuable support to the Resource Mobilisation and Innovation Team by assisting in fundraising services across community and child sponsorship initiatives, and institutional partnership for AAN.
  2. S/he will additionally, have percentage time effort to assist AAN’s downstream partners in their fundraising efforts.

Job Requirements

Education / Qualifications:

  • First degree in relevant studies is essential.

Experience:

  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a fundraising role is essential.

Skills / Abilities:

  1. Sound knowledge of Microsoft tools (MS Office Word, Excel etc.).
  2. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  3. Strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving abilities.
  4. Comfortable approaching and engaging with people in public settings.
  5. Strong commitment to ethical fundraising practices.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Reliable and responsible with a strong sense of accountability.
  8. Previous resource mobilisation experience is a plus but not mandatory.
