Job Position: GO-Lang Backend Developer

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  1. We are sourcing for a Golang developer, who will help in building a optimised, scalable, and modular software using required technologies.
  2. You will be tasked developing and coding back-end components and connecting applications to other web services.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Structure our user interface with React and ensure REST API access is available for enterprise-grade finance customers on-demand
  2. Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure consistent and smooth DevOps workflows.
  3. Choose and implement other libraries that will optimise performance without sacrificing security and base functionality
  4. Manage multiple projects within reasonable design specifications and budget restrictions
  5. QA design for errors
  6. Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
  7. Create visualisation that convey accurate messaging for the project.
  8. Writing scalable, robust,, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
  9. Translating software requirements into stable, working, high performance software
  10. Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient micro services distributed architecture.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of two years experience working in programming or information technology
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  3. Attention to detail..
  4. Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
  5. Knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns
  6. Experience with the full site of Go frameworks and tools, including:
    • Dependency management tools such as Godep, Sltr, etc.
    • Go’s templating language
    • Go’s code generation tools, such as Stringer
    • Popular Go web frameworks, such as Revel
    • Router packages, such as Gorilla Mux
  7. Ability to write clean and effective Godoc comments
  8. Other programming language experience such as ( LARAVEL, JAVASCRIPT etcetera.)
  9. Strong analytical skills
  10. Time management and organisational skills
  11. Knowledge of Go templating, common frameworks, and tools
  12. Experience working with a team.
