Job Position: Graphic Designer
Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

The Graphics Manager is responsible for leading and supervising the creative team in developing high-quality visual designs for product packaging, brand materials, promotional content, and social media assets.

The role ensures brand consistency across all platforms and supports the commercial team with compelling marketing visuals that reinforce the company’s identity and enhance market presence.

Job Responsibilities
Creative Direction & Team Leadership:

  1. Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers in producing high-impact visual assets for packaging, promotional campaigns, and digital platforms.
  2. Assign tasks, review artwork, and ensure design quality aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  3. Conduct brainstorming sessions and provide feedback to drive creativity and continuous improvement.

Brand Identity & Consistency:

  1. Maintain and enforce visual brand standards across all communication materials.
  2. Ensure correct application of company logos, typography, and key imagery across departments and external partners.
  3. Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop cohesive brand narratives.

Packaging & Product Artwork Development:

  1. Oversee the end-to-end process of packaging design, artwork creation, and product mock-ups for personal care and household products.
  2. Review and approve print-ready files and collaborate with suppliers or printers to ensure production quality.

Marketing Support:

  1. Design and supervise the creation of marketing collateral such as posters, banners, brochures, in-store and outdoor promotional materials.
  2. Support digital marketing initiatives by ensuring the timely development of engaging social media graphics and content layouts.

Project Management:

  1. Plan and manage design timelines, allocate resources, and ensure the timely delivery of artwork.
  2. Coordinate with product development, sales, and marketing teams to prioritise requests and align outputs with commercial strategy.

Requirements
Education:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Marketing Communications, or related field.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 5 – 7 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within the FMCG, cosmetics, personal care, or household products industry.
  2. At least 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience leading a design or creative team.

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), CorelDRAW, and other relevant design tools.
