Job Position: Junior Graphic Designer Intern

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  1. You must have a strong portfolio of design work
  2. Responsible for conceptualising, developing and creating a repository of graphic and brand assets for all creative efforts.
  3. A high level of skill in the following Canva, Adobe programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  4. Support the brand’s style direction with creative content / ideas and maintain brand consistency •
  5. Assist in photo shoots, social media posts and videos
  6. Brainstorming, compose and publish content on company website, facebook and instagram
  7. Understanding of and experience in branding, layout, and typography in both print and digital media
  8. Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
  9. Dependable, solid work ethic, detail-oriented, self-motivated
  10. Creative and innovative problem solver
  11. Take direction well, but also able to make decisions and take initiative
  12. Ability to prioritize projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time
  13. Work collaboratively, presenting your work for internal critiques and team reviews
  14. Work creatively and quickly meeting quality and accuracy standards

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Design and art direction
  2. Create social media assets
  3. Design pitches and digital campaigns
  4. Manage brand aesthetics
  5. Mange design projects from concept through execution

Job Requirements:

  1. Strong social/digital media experience.
  2. SSCE and above

    Ability to create Graphics that induce emotions enough to make a customer buy a product

  3. Expert knowledge of all social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
  4. Able to design mood boards
  5. Sourcing social media content on a weekly/monthly basis
  6. Edit/retouch photos – photography skills are a plus!
  7. Create shot lists
  8. Able to design memes and gifs
  9. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite

Addition

  • Ability to edit video and audio editing with Camtasia, Premiere or other software package is a big PLUS.
