Job Summary

The Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that aligns with Women Radio 91.7’s brand identity and enhances its communication across traditional and digital platforms.

The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs that support programming, marketing, and social impact campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop creative designs for on-air and off-air campaigns, including show logos, event posters, banners, flyers, and digital content.
  2. Design social media graphics, infographics, motion graphics, and other visuals to enhance online engagement.
  3. Collaborate with the programmes and project team to produce visuals that complement storytelling and broadcast themes.
  4. Maintain and update the station’s brand assets, ensuring consistency in colour, typography, and visual identity.
  5. Create layouts and design concepts for presentations, reports, and promotional materials.
  6. Edit photos and videos for social media and marketing use.
  7. Support the marketing and communications team in creating visuals for advertising, sponsorship decks, and community campaigns.
  8. Manage multiple design projects and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Media, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a graphics designer, preferably in media, advertising, or communications.
  3. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Canva.
  4. Basic video editing and motion graphics skills are an advantage.
  5. Knowledge of social media trends and digital content design best practices.
  6. Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work under pressure.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 monthly (negotiable)
