Job Position: Graphics Designer

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Plans concept by studying the client’s brief.
  2. Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style.
  3. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  4. Designing for digital presentations.
  5. Creating ad layouts using copy, typefaces, images, and color schemes to communicate the client’s message.
  6. Collaborating with copy writers or Creative Lead to discuss project goals and design concepts.
  7. Create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumer.
  8. Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
  9. Researching industry-specific design trends and staying up-to-date on new software and design techniques.
  10. Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with clients.
  11. Developing original graphic content and visual styles.
  12. Preparing and presenting rough drafts to clients and team members for feedback
  13. Revising designs based on feedback and implementing changes as needed
  14. Ensuring final designs are visually appealing and effective at conveying the desired message.
  15. Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus.
  • 4 – 5 years work experience.
  • Proven graphic designing experience.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
  • Proficient in Adobe’s Photo shop, In-design and Illustrator software.
  • An understanding of HTML and other web design applications.
  • Must have experience working in a Marketing and Communications Agency.
  • Know about color and design fundamentals, motion graphics, traditional typography, digital illustration, web page scripting, business graphic design and web page design.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as In-Design, Illustrator, Dream-weaver, Photo shop).
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

Salary
N150,000 / month.
