Job Position: Graphics Designer & Video Editor
Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Description

The Graphics Designer & Video Editor will be responsible for creating engaging graphics, editing high-quality videos, and optimising content for social media platforms.

The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong sense of initiative, creativity, and dedication to achieving collective and individual goals.

Job Responsibilities
Graphics Design:

  1. Create visually compelling graphics for various platforms, including social media, website, email newsletters, event banners, and print materials.
  2. Design materials for events, flyers, posters, brochures, and other promotional content in line with the approved branding guidelines.
  3. Develop creative concepts that resonate with the target audience and objectives.

Video Editing:

  1. Edit and produce high-quality videos, including event highlights, promotional videos, testimonials, and online content.
  2. Add motion graphics, subtitles, special effects, and sound design to videos to enhance their impact.
  3. Manage the end-to-end video production process, from raw footage to final output.

Social Media Design:

  1. Collaborate with the social media team to develop visually engaging posts, stories, and reels for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
  2. Optimise designs and videos for specific social media formats and algorithms.
  3. Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and CorelDRAW.
  2. Expertise in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
  3. Knowledge of motion graphics tools such as Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  4. Understanding of social media design requirements and posting best practices.
  5. Familiarity with basic photography and videography techniques is an advantage.
  6. Excellent team player with a collaborative mindset.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design and video editing.
  2. A portfolio showcasing previous work in graphic design, video editing, and social media content creation is required

Salary
N500,000 – N600,000 Monthly (Net).
