Job Description
- The Growth and Expansion Manager at Wakanow will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth initiatives across diverse markets.
- Reporting directly to the Vice President of Growth, Integrations, Partnerships, and Expansion, this position requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, project management skills, and effective communication abilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of country performance across various channels, products, customer segments, and travel routes.
- Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies to optimize performance metrics.
Project Management:
- Undertake project management for various initiatives, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and execute projects effectively.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate progress, milestones, and insights to key stakeholders within and outside the organization.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align growth strategies.
Market Research and Expansion Strategies:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for expansion in existing and new markets.
- Develop and implement strategies to enter new markets and enhance the company’s presence.
Collaboration and Partnerships:
- Work closely with the partnerships team to identify and establish strategic alliances.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to foster relationships that contribute to business growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in growth and expansion roles within the travel industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Excellent project management capabilities, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures.
- Knowledge of the EMEA travel market is a significant advantage.
