Job Position: Growth Officer – Merchant Acquisition and Revenue Generation

Job Locations: Abia, Enugu, Ogun & Lagos (Remote)

Job Description

  1. We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team.
  2. As a Sales Officer, your primary role will be to acquire new merchants and generate revenue for our Transaction Finance company.
  3. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with merchants.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue
  2. Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
  4. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  5. Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends
  6. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
  7. Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants
  8. Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience
  9. Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field is an added advantage
  2. At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role
  3. Experience in the transaction finance industry is a plus
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Strong negotiation and closing skills
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  8. Abia (Igbo Speaker), Enugu (Igbo Speaker), Ogun (Yoruba Speaker).

Remuneration (Fixed + Variable Pay)
Fixed:

  1. Gross Salary: N146,343 Monthly.
  2. Airtime, Data & Transport Stipend: N60,000.

Variable:

  1. Commissions: 7.5% of Total Net Revenue Generated per month. There is no cap on what you can earn.
  2. High performers earn up to 5-10x their monthly salary in additional commissions per month.
