MKH Properties Limited is a rapidly growing Nigerian real estate development company headquartered in Lekki, Lagos, with a branch in Ibadan. It offers services in property development, sales, facility management, real estate consultancy, and surveying.
Job Position: Head of Finance
Location: Lekki-Ajah, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Leading the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (IFRS, GAAP, local laws).
- Managing cash flow.
- Deliver financial reports on a timely basis
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity in all financial processes of the company:
- Coordinate audits and tax filings; liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal counsel.
Leadership:
- Lead and develop the finance team.
- Collaborate with departments such as development, sales, operations, and legal to support overall business objectives.
- Maintain a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the finance team.
- He must be able to use accounting software like Sage and the like
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 5 -7 years post – post-qualification experience in the real estate sector.
- At least 3 years’ experience as Head or Manager of a Finance team with proven results.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Professional certification in accounting, ICAN, is required.
