Job Position: Head of Finance & Accounts

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description
Amongst other duties, the candidate will:

  1. Ensure proper documentation and posting of all financial transactions, and prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports therefrom.
  2. Analyse trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
  3. Advice management on resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of BSc / HND in Accounting
  2. Professional Accounting qualification e.g. ACA or ACCA is an added advantage
  3. Minimum of 5 years proven work experience in a similar role, 3 years of which must be as the Head of the bursary in a well-structured secondary school.
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software
  5. Proficient in the use of MS Office, especially Excel
  6. Excellent financial reporting skills
  7. Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  8. Excellent organizational skills
  9. Not more than 35 years of age
