Job Overview
As they prepare for launch, they are seeking a Head of Growth / Business Development to drive revenue generation, strategic partnerships, and customer traction.
This role is central to their ambition of raising ₦150m pre-launch through developers, investors, and ecosystem partners, while positioning the company for long-term scale and impact.
Job Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Monetization:
- Design and execute their go-to-market revenue strategy, with a focus on developers, investors, and sponsors.
- Drive developer onboarding through high-ticket packages (₦2m–₦5m each).
- Launch and grow investor membership tiers (₦300k–₦1m annually).
- Secure corporate sponsorships and branded partnerships (₦5m–₦10m each).
Business Development & Partnerships:
- Build and negotiate strategic relationships with real estate developers, financial institutions, law firms, and regulators.
- Develop win-win models for property managers, trustees, and diaspora networks.
- Expand their ecosystem directory.
Community & Investor Engagement:
- Coordinate investor masterclasses, webinars, and retreats to strengthen trust.
- Manage communication channels (diaspora groups, WhatsApp, newsletters).
- Develop and distribute research reports and investor insights as premium offerings.
Growth Strategy & Execution:
- Own KPIs for pre-launch revenue and traction (₦150m goal).
- Track performance and report results directly to the Founder & Architects.
- Collaborate with AGTA Lead, Developer Relations Lead, and Product team to align growth activities with supply and demand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree in any related field
- 5 – 8 years’ experience in business development, partnerships, or growth marketing in fintech, proptech, or adjacent sectors.
- Proven track record of closing ₦5m+ corporate deals or raising capital through partnerships.
- Strong network among Nigerian developers, HNIs, diaspora groups, and corporate sponsors.
- Excellent deal-making, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in a fast-paced, lean startup environment.
Benefits
- Salary: N700,000 – N900,000 monthly.
- Equity (ESOP): 0.35–0.55% (4-year vesting, 1-year cliff).
Performance Bonus:
- 3–5% commission on developer onboarding packages closed.
- 1–2% commission on sponsorship deals closed.
- Milestone bonuses: ₦1m at ₦50m revenue, ₦2m at ₦100m, ₦3m at ₦150m.
- Upside: Post-seed funding, leadership compensation will be reviewed upwards in line with company growth.
