Job Position: Head of Human Resources

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department, including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward and Recognition, as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and management of the HR budget.
  2. Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
  3. Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
  4. Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
  5. Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  6. Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
  7. Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
  8. Design and implement employee retention strategies
  9. Maintain pay plan and benefits program.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc degree in Human Resources or related field.
  2. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in an HR role.
  3. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management role.
  4. Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office packages & ERP systems (Knowledge of Navision& SharePoint will be an added advantage).
  5. Hands-on experience with HR software.
  6. Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
