Job Position: Head of Marketing

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s objectives, ensuring brand consistency and market positioning.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
  3. Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and identity to maintain a strong, consistent brand image.
  4. Customer Acquisition: Lead efforts to acquire and engage new customers through various channels, such as digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and advertising.
  5. Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats, staying informed about industry trends and customer preferences.
  6. Campaign Development: Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, measuring and optimizing their performance.
  7. Content Strategy: Develop and execute content marketing strategies, including the creation of high-quality, engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
  8. Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media marketing.
  9. Analytics and KPIs: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data analytics to measure the success of marketing efforts, providing regular reports to the executive team.
  10. Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI.
  11. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and integrated marketing efforts.
  12. Public Relations: Manage public relations and media relations activities, cultivating positive relationships with media outlets and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  2. Proven experience in marketing leadership roles, with a track record of successfully developing and executing marketing strategies.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Proficiency with marketing analytics tools.
