Job Responsibilities

  1. Formulate effective sales strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  2. Design and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets.

Lead and Manage Sales Team:

  1. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  2. Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.

Client Acquisition and Retention:

  1. Drive initiatives for acquiring new clients and expanding the customer base.
  2. Implement strategies to enhance client retention and satisfaction.

Product Knowledge and Training:

  1. Ensure the sales team possesses comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and services.
  2. Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on industry trends and product developments.

Market Research and Analysis:

  1. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about competitors.
  2. Analyze market trends and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  1. Develop sales forecasts and regularly report on sales performance.
  2. Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales initiatives.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

  1. Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and underwriting, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Relationship Management:

  1. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and partners.
  2. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to enhance the company’s profile.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

  1. Ensure that sales activities comply with industry regulations and legal requirements.
  2. Implement and uphold ethical standards within the sales team.

Budget Management:

  1. Develop and manage the sales budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize returns.
  2. Monitor and control expenses to ensure budget adherence.

Technology Utilization:

  1. Embrace and leverage technology, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems, to streamline sales processes and enhance efficiency.

Performance Evaluation:

  1. Establish and implement performance metrics for the sales team.
  2. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

Innovation and Adaptability:

  1. Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability within the sales team.
  2. Encourage the exploration of new sales approaches and technologies.

Customer Feedback Management:

  1. Establish processes for collecting and analyzing customer feedback.
  2. Use feedback to drive improvements in products, services, and the overall customer experience.

Negotiation and Deal Closure:

  1. Participate in key negotiations and oversee the closure of significant deals.
  2. Provide guidance and support to the sales team in navigating complex negotiations.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
  2. Minimum of 12 years experience in insurance sales.
  3. Proven work experience driving B2B, B2C, channel sales, agency in Insurance sales
  4. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  5. Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools.
  6. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  7. Experience with managing sales funnels and customer success.
  8. Effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  9. Creative capacity to develop and lead initiatives to improve sales processes.
  10. Effective capacity to work and collaborate with cross functional teams.
  11. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  12. Ability to efficiently lead and manage multiple sales communications simultaneously.
