Job Position: Head, Operations & Strategy
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers (with potential expansion to Abuja and Lagos)

  1. Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven professional to fill the role of Head, Operations & Strategy.
  2. This role is ideal for experienced individuals with a strong background in international logistics, system automation, and organisational leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead the operations and strategic planning of the organisation across multiple locations.
  2. Drive process automation and leverage tools such as Power BI for reporting and decision-making.
  3. Oversee logistics, procurement, and customs compliance processes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies.
  6. Monitor industry trends and implement strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
  7. Support the company’s expansion into new markets, including Abuja and Lagos.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are an added advantage.
  2. 5–10 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
  3. Strong background in freight forwarding, international logistics, and customs processes.
  4. Knowledge of the oil and gas procurement space is essential.
  5. Proficiency in Power BI and other automation tools.
  6. Excellent communication, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
  7. Proven track record of driving organisational growth and operational excellence.
