Job Position: HR & Accounts Officer

Job Location: Delta

Job Responsibilities

  1. Administer the recruitment and selection process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  2. Maintain employee records, including personal information, attendance, leave, and performance evaluations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  3. Coordinate employee training and development initiatives, including identifying training needs, scheduling sessions, and tracking participation.
  4. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs, in alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  5. Handle employee relations matters, including resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and promoting a positive work environment.
  6. Manage payroll processing, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  7. Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide guidance to management and staff on HR-related matters.

Accounts:

  1. Maintain financial records and ledgers, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Process invoices, expense claims, and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and timely payment.
  3. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing support to management for financial decision-making.
  4. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and auditors, to resolve financial discrepancies and queries.
  5. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget variances, identifying areas for cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
