Job Position: HR / Admin Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide input as applicable in the creation, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  2. Carry out HR Analytics to identify trends and provide specific information about operations.
  3. Facilitate induction programme for new employees and coordinate the onboarding exercise.
  4. Provide advisory support to employees on employment terms and conditions and policies & procedures.
  5. Create and maintain employee documents, records, and data to agreed procedures and standards.
  6. Coordinate internal communication and information to ensure all employees are well informed.
  7. Coordinate company’s special events such as General Staff Meetings, End of year parties, birthday parties, Regulatory Visits, etc
  8. Coordinate the recruitment process (shortlisting, interview) and provide timely interview reports to help facilitate objective recruitment decisions.
  9. Maintain a database of unsolicited applications for easy retrieval and reference.
  10. Assist in developing the recruitment and manpower plans for the business.
  11. Collaborate with Line Managers to ensure that all Staff exhaust their leave entitlements as and when due.
  12. Collate Training Needs Analysis for all employees across the organization to facilitate appropriate training plans for all employees
  13. Identify and recommend learning and development tools/formats tailored to address the specific and generic needs of staff organisation-wide
  14. Prepare activity report for the attention of Management.
  15. Handle the imprest account and disburse daily operational costs from tickets, allowances, etc.
  16. Process documentation relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, leave, etc.).
  17. Supervision of all team members, track their performance and provide the necessary support for team members to achieve unit objectives, company mission, and personal career goals.
  18. Facilitate the processing of all insurance policies including comprehensive insurance and Goods-In-Transit Insurance. I also facilitate the smooth processing of all claims by working with the underwriters, loss adjusters, and other third-party agents for swift settlements of claims.
  19. Prompt settlement of all local and state government levies, fees, permits including emblems, etc.
  20. Ensure all Truck papers are up to date and renewed promptly.
  21. Payroll Management.
  22. Reconciliation of the stock/spare parts records with the site coordinator and admin staff and ensuring accuracy.
  23. Any other task assigned by management from time to time.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field.
  2. Female preferably for gender balance.
  3. Over 3 years work experience in Human Resources.
  4. Excellent knowledge of labor law.
  5. Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  6. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  7. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Professional Certification; CIPM or its equivalent.

Working days:

  • Monday to Friday.
