Job Position: HR and Admin Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

  1. The HR and Admin Officer will be responsible for managing HR operations, ensuring administrative efficiency, and aligning workforce management with business objectives.
  2. This role requires strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills to support smooth daily operations and organisational growth.

Job Responsibilities
Human Resources Functions:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  2. Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process to attract and retain qualified candidates.
  3. Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure seamless employee transitions.
  4. Maintain and update employee records in compliance with statutory regulations.
  5. Oversee employee leave, attendance, and payroll coordination.
  6. Facilitate effective performance management processes and systems.
  7. Foster positive employee relations by addressing grievances and supporting workplace harmony.
  8. Monitor compliance with labour laws and organisational policies.
  9. Assist in planning and implementing training and development programs.

Administrative Functions:

  1. Manage daily office operations, ensuring a conducive work environment.
  2. Coordinate the procurement and inventory of office supplies, equipment, and furniture.
  3. Oversee facility management, including maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness.
  4. Organise and coordinate meetings, company events, and travel arrangements.
  5. Prepare and manage administrative budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
  6. Maintain filing systems for organisational records while ensuring confidentiality.

Compliance and Reporting:

  1. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual HR and administrative reports.
  2. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  3. Support audits and inspections related to HR and administration.

Job Qualifications and Competencies

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and administrative roles.
  3. Strong understanding of HR best practices and labour laws.
  4. Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and organisational tools.
  5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  6. Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  7. Proactive, ethical, and professional approach to work.

  2. Timely preparation of HR and administrative reports.
  3. Efficient office operations and adherence to HR policies.
