Job Position: Administrative Officer / HR Assistant

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

  1. We are currently seeking a proactive and adaptable male Administrative Officer / HR Assistant to join our team.
  2. This role involves managing administrative tasks, HR support, and overseeing facilities and equipment-related issues across our stores in Lekki, Festac, and Victoria Island. Proximity to the Victoria Island location is essential.

Job Responsibilities
Administrative Officer Responsibilities:

  1. Store Visits: Regularly visit our stores in Lekki, Festac, and Victoria Island to assess their operational needs and ensure smooth functioning.
  2. Facilities Management: Identify and promptly address any facilities-related issues, including equipment maintenance, repairs, and safety concerns, at all store locations.
  3. Record Keeping: Maintain precise records of scheduled repairs and associated expenses, and provide weekly reports to the management as required.
  4. Team Support: Provide administrative support to store staff, including scheduling, payroll, and performance tracking, to ensure an efficient and productive workforce.

HR Assistant Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews for all store locations.
  2. Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees at each store, including paperwork, orientation, and training coordination.
  3. Benefits Administration: Assist in administering employee benefits programs and promptly respond to employee inquiries related to benefits.
  4. Policy Compliance: Ensure that HR practices at all store locations align with company policies and comply with employment laws and regulations.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in administrative or HR roles, preferably in a multi-location setting.
  3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  6. Ability to move around and effectively manage facilities-related issues at different store locations.
  7. Proximity to Victoria Island is essential.
  8. Gender Preference: Male.
