Job Position: HR / Business Manager
Location: Oshodi / Ajao Estate, Lagos

Job Summary

  1. The HR/Business Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organisation, including financial management, organisational development, performance management, compensation and benefits and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:

  1. Manage the company’s finances, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
  2. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and transparency.
  3. Work closely with the Business Development team to oversee revenue generation, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  4. Monitor expenses, analyse financial data, and provide regular reports to the MD/CEO.

Organisational Development:

  1. Oversee day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the company.
  2. Implement policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity.
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.

Recruitment and Staffing:

  1. Identify staffing needs in different departments
  2. Develop Job descriptions and post job vacancies
  3. Conduct interviews and select qualified candidates
  4. Oversee the onboarding process for new employees.

Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with department heads and management to align HR strategies with business objectives
  2. Serve as an intermediary between the CEO and department heads.

Performance Management:

  1. Implement performance appraisal systems and set performance goals
  2. Provide feedback and coaching to employees for continuous improvement
  3. Proactively identify talent gaps and make plans to overcome them.

Compensation And Benefits:

  1. Manage payroll, including processing wages and addressing payroll inquiries
  2. Administer employee benefits, such as healthcare
  3. Oversee pay distributions to employees.

Employee Relations:

  1. Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee satisfaction and retention
  2. Address employee concerns and grievances effectively
  3. Promote open communication channels within the organisation.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field with 4 – 5 years work experience.
  2. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  3. Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  4. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective plans and initiatives.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 monthly.
