Job Position: Human Resources Business Partner
Job Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Ensures that general change objectives are met by participating in the planning and execution stages with the HR Manager and other Managers.
- Utilizes familiarity with the organization’s employees to understand their needs and expectations during a change.
- Analyzes employees’ responsibilities and identifies how employees can be successfully transitioned to the new organizational structure.
- Creates an overall summary of positions that will be affected by the change and positions that will not be affected.
- Educates employees on the company purpose, annual objectives and various action plans.
- Works closely with the HR Manager to plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy.
- Ensure background checks are conducted.
- Builds positive employee relationship by assessing employees’ needs, identifying employees’ requirements and developing exciting initiatives to boost employees’ morale and productivity.
- Gathers information related to employee complaints and proposes possible solutions.
- Creates an environment that is conducive to producing a committed workforce.
- Evaluates processes and addresses inefficiencies in the workforce.
- Creates an on-boarding process that is welcoming, thorough and incorporates the company culture.
- Collaborates with the HR Manager in monitoring appraisal schemes.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information.
- Ability to deliver result and work under pressure and resourceful
- Meticulous attention to details.
- Thorough knowledge of labor law.
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
