Job Position: HR Manager

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  1. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources department and drive initiatives that support our company’s growth and employee well-being.
  2. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR management, exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:

  1. Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to candidate selection.
  2. Develop and implement effective strategies for attracting top talent.
  3. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and plan for future workforce requirements.

Employee Relations:

  1. Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
  2. Handle employee inquiries, conflicts, and concerns in a timely and confidential manner.
  3. Develop and implement employee recognition programs and initiatives.

Training and Development:

  1. Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  2. Ensure compliance with mandatory training and certification requirements.
  3. Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  1. Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  2. Stay informed about labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  3. Manage employee records and ensure data confidentiality.

  1. Administer employee benefits programs and compensation packages.
  2. Conduct salary surveys and analyse market trends to maintain competitive pay structures.
  3. Review and recommend improvements to the benefits package.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  2. Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  6. Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  8. Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
