Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage all human resource functions at our client’s retail supermarket operations in Port Harcourt.
The ideal candidate will have strong generalist HR skills, with a core focus on Benefits & Compensation, Performance Management, and Regulatory Compliance.
Experience using ERP systems for HR processes is essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits structures aligned with company policies.
- Drive performance management processes, including appraisals, KPIs, and feedback systems.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
- Maintain and update employee records using ERP software.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Support organisational development and training initiatives.
- Relate with other stakeholders
- Employee engagement and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the retail sector.
- Proven experience in compensation, performance management, and compliance.
- Proficient in the use of ERP systems for HR operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Gender: Male (for gender balance).
Salary
N400,000 – N500,000 Monthly
