Job Position: HR Personnel

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide support and participate with managers in the recruitment of new staff.
  2. Organize, coordinate and carry out all human resource department and processes for Tizeti Network Limited.
  3. Work directly with and assist the Human Resources Supervisor and Executive to fulfil a variety of necessary HR/Admin tasks. This includes all hiring, onboarding, retention, employee engagement and training procedures for new or existing employees.
  4. Track and maintain all employee data in a HR module.
  5. Plan, co-ordinate Internship work experience placements, ensuring that these meet the needs of the organization as well as those of the student.
  6. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  7. Responsible for cascading the departmental objectives into task for the associates and also conducting appraisals when appropriate.
  8. Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  9. Review and ensures that the company policy is updated adequately.
  10. Ensures that all staff has a good understanding of the company policy and HR procedures.
  11. Implement and maintain HR procedures to ensure effective, fair and consistent management of staff throughout the organization.
  12. Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensuring that these are well managed and meet the requirements of the Company policies, best practice and employment legislation
  13. Maintain positive employee relations and work to ensure worker satisfaction through education of HR policies and by fostering a positive work environment.
  14. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance e.g. Nigeria Labour Law, International Labour Organization (ILO).

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc or HND or its equivalent in any related discipline of Administration with minimum of 2.1 (Second Class, Upper Division) or upper credit Professional certification in CIPM will be added advantage

Knowledge and skills:

  1. HR competence and knowledge of HR process and computer programs
  2. Comfortable working in a highly visible role
  3. Possess strong computer and clerical skills including proficiency in Microsoft office
  4. Understanding, empathetic and relatable
  5. Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability
  6. Administrator and coordinator experience
  7. Attentive listener
  8. Highly organized, detail-oriented and most importantly, personable and approachable.
  9. Self-driven individual with ability to work with minimum supervision
  10. Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  11. Deep knowledge of best practices in Human Capital management
  12. Ability to maintain the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
  13. Strong time-management and organisation skills
  14. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  15. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  16. Excellent collaborator.
