Job Position: HSE Officer
Location: Mainland, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Carrying out a daily routine walk-around of factory/warehouse floors, waste areas, and the environment, as well as inspecting fire and emergency equipment to identify residual risks and ensure a safe workplace.
  2. Investigate Accidents, make recommendations for corrective actions, and send a report to the HSE Manager.
  3. Review and analyse near-miss incidents and make recommendations
  4. Conducting daily monitoring/analysis of the Effluent Treatment Plant.
  5. Documenting, arranging, and filing of HSE documents in line with the ISO standard.
  6. Assisting with implementing safe work procedures and regularly inspecting job/production sites for hazard identification, reduction, and elimination using appropriate control measures.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of a B.Sc. Degree / HND Degree in Sciences.
  2. 3 – 5 years of experience on the job.
  3. HSE Level 3 Supervisory certification and NEBOSH.
