Job Position: Human Capital Manager

Job Description

  1. The Human Capital Manager/Administrative Manager plays a dual role, integrating human capital strategies with effective administrative management to support organizational growth and efficiency.
  2. This position is responsible for leading and directing all functions related to human resources and administrative services, ensuring a productive work environment that aligns with the company’s strategic goals.
  3. This role is essential for the creation and oversight of our Human Resource Management strategies and practices, ensuring they align with the organization’s goals.
  4. The individual will spearhead the development of HR policies and systems, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining an optimal level of skilled staff to support the company’s strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities:

  1. Craft and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that integrates with the company’s overall mission.
  2. Establish HR policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support systems, ensuring effective management and achievement of the HR unit’s goals.
  3. Oversee the enforcement of HR policies to maintain consistency across the board, including recruitment, training, and employee service terms.

HR Planning and Operations:

  1. Analyze and forecast HR needs across departments, recommending actionable strategies.
  2. Lead the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure the selection of qualified candidates.
  3. Offer guidance on employment and labor matters in accordance with established policies and regulations.
  4. Maintain a detailed HR database for efficient operation.
  5. Guide the evaluation and structuring of organizational roles and responsibilities.

Workplace Safety and Talent Management:

  1. Implement and monitor health and safety protocols for all employees.
  2. Oversee talent management strategies to support succession planning.

Compensation and Performance:

  1. Administer the company’s salary structure and benefits, ensuring fairness and compliance with policies.
  2. Lead salary and benefits benchmarking studies, providing recommendations for adjustments.
  3. Oversee the performance management process, aligning it with business goals.

Employee Relations:

  • Provide expertise on employment laws and HR policies to ensure compliance.
  • Manage employee relations to maintain a harmonious work environment.

Development and Training:

  • Identify and address training needs within the company.
  • Ensure the relevance and effectiveness of training programs.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with external entities like the Labour Commission and regulatory bodies.

Financial and Reporting Accountability:

  1. Prepare and manage the HR unit’s budget.
  2. Stay updated on HR trends and legislation, reporting on HR metrics and compliance.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and develop the HR team, setting performance standards and encouraging professional growth.

Job Requirements
To be successful in the role, the candidates should meet the following requirements:
Educational Background and Experience:

  1. Master’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management or a related field, with professional certification.
  2. A minimum of ten years’ experience in HR, including five years in a senior role.

Skills:

  1. Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  2. Proficient in HR systems and management development.
  3. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships and manage a team effectively.
  5. Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
