Job Position: Human Resource Business Partner

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provideday-to-day advice, interpretation, and support to client departments regarding the application of human resources policies, guidelines, procedures, and best practices.
  2. Develop HR strategies, policies and procedures
  3. Conduct workforce audit, job auditand pulse of the organization reviews and make recommendations for improvement
  4. Analyze and prepare the result of appraisals and communicate to management
  5. Provideguidance and input on business unit restructuring and workforce planning.
  6. Evaluate staffing needs and make recommendations
  7. Develop workflow policies and manuals
  8. Create compensation plans
  9. Prepare all HR related documentationincluding job descriptions, offer letters etc.
  10. Develop Key Performance Indicators(KPI) for business units and employees as requiredand conduct performance appraisals
  11. Carefully source and place qualified candidates
  12. Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  13. Analyze competitors’ practices and make recommendations to management
  14. Make recommendations to leadership on improvements in benefits to attract and retain a quality workforce
  15. Design and manage employee surveys and exit interviews
  16. Develop assessments for potential and current employees
  17. Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews when required
  18. Keep abreast of all legal and statutory requirements for to day-to-day management of employees
  19. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  20. Work with team to develop training materials when required
  21. Ensure compliance with internal policies, company standards, and best practices.
  22. Perform all other HR and organizational-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field required.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in HR and 1 year in a similar role
  3. CIPM certification an added advantage
  4. Candidate must live close to the Lekki/VI axis.

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Strong understanding of business policies and procedures
  2. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
  3. Thorough understanding of Nigerian laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies
  4. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
  5. Ability to create detailed spreadsheets, charts, and presentations
  6. Familiarity with HR operations including hiring, payroll, and employee benefits

  8. Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work
  9. Excellent organization, planning and coordination skills
  10. Good intuitive, negotiating, and analytical skills
  11. Ability to work with minimal supervision
  12. Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools
  13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  14. Must be able to prepare management reports and correspondence

Salary

  • N200,000 – N300,000 monthly
