Job Position: Human Resource Manager
Location:  Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

The HR Manager provides quality compliance and administrative support to the Group Executive Director and the HR Team.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the formulation and effective implementation of recruitment strategies and plans to identify, hire, retain and motivate the best talents to meet the Group’s
  2. Supervise the planning and forecasting of workforce requirements, including tracking and monitoring of the organisation structure and manning levels.
  3. Design, implement, and effectively monitor appropriate employee reward strategies, policies and programmes to enable the Group of Companies to attract and retain the best talent.
  4. Develop and implement a robust performance management system for the Group to ensure the companies are objective, equitable, transparent and merit-driven.
  5. Effectively liaise with senior management and employees to maintain and improve company-employee relations.
  6. Recruit, onboard, and train new company hires according to the needs of department managers and the company budget.
  7. Ensure compliance with company directives, regulatory concerns, and health and safety protocols.
  8. Administer payroll, company benefits packages, corporate events, and team-building meetings.
  9. Track progress, timelines, and priorities of projects
  10. Ensure proper documentation for new employees
  11. Ensure reference checks and Guarantors’ verification of new employees are professionally don.e
  12. Draft termination paperwork and provide support for exit interviews
  13. Keep abreast with global HR trends and good practice
  14. Ensure a robust Learning Management System group-wide

Experience / Qualification

  1. A degree in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum 7 years proven work experience
  3. Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)
  4. Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
  5. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is an added advantage
  6. HRCertification(e.g. CIPM, SPHRetc.)
