Job Position: Human Resource Manager, JLLA

Job Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • The incumbent is to see to the management of the business’s human capital, and co-ordination of its day-to-day employee relations.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Ensure that the company complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation with respect to people matters.
  2. Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department including, recruitment, employee relations, employee learning and development and payroll, and reward and recognition
  3. Take the lead role in transforming and strengthening the organizational culture, ensuring the company values and approach are displayed.
  4. Assess general training needs business-wide, develop training programs to meet these gaps, and monitor general performance post training
  5. Design and execute a performance management system companywide, ensuring recognition for high performance.
  6. Develop and implement employee benefit plans, and maintain equitable and competitive remuneration plans
  7. Manage the recruitment process end to end, ensuring value for money and time efficiency
  8. Act as a liaison between the employees and senior management, and provide reports on strategic issues
  9. Develop and promote policies that ensure positive interaction within the general staff body

Job Requirements

  • BA / MA in Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, or a Social Science
  • 5 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • CIPM or any other HR certification required.

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  5. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
