The company’s focus is to provide healthy oil as a cooking medium to its customers. The company is Nigeria’s trusted name for supply of refined palm oil, palm kernel oil, olein, soybean Oil, stearin, soybean meal, soy lecithin, and palm kernel de-oiled cake. Our oils are used as healthy cooking medium. Soybean meal and palm kernel de-oiled cake are used in premier poultry / animal feed.

The company’s products have been duly certified by the appropriate regulatory agencies Such as the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) and National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA). Job Description

  1. This role responsible in ensuring a healthy and cooperative work environment, minimizing labor disputes and conflicts.
  2. By fostering positive employee relations, boost morale, productivity, and employee loyalty, leading to higher retention rates and reduced turnover.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Employee Relations: Implementation of employee wellbeing initiatives, Provide Human Resources (HR) Policy guidance and interpretation, provide guidance through In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  2. Policies Developments and Implementation: Frame policies in different fields (e.g., Human & Employees Right, Corporate Social Responsibility, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Code of Conduct and Ethics, etc.) review with management for approval and enforce its implementation and compliance.
  3. Managing relationships with unions & ensuring that the Company’s treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.
  4. Handling complaints, managing grievance procedures, and facilitating counselling in conjunction with other stakeholders.
  5. Investigating and resolving complex or critical industrial relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
  6. Collating and analysing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
  7. Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional Membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) will be an advantage
  • 7- 10 years experience in Human Resources Practice at Management Level
  • In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian and International Labour Laws and prior experience in employee relations or industrial relations.
  • Extensive knowledge of government regulations and policies and strong experience in dealing with unions.
  • You possess strong knowledge of HR policies & procedures.
  • You have strong problem-solving, negotiation & influencing skills.
