Job Position: Human Resource Manager

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Description
The main responsibilities of the HR Manager will be to:

  • Recruit for roles across the firm, including legal, sales, marketing and ops
  • Ensure all our HR processes are helping the business run smoothly
  • Work to maintain the happiness/engagement levels of the firm.

Job Responsibilities
Recruitment:

  1. Oversee recruitment for roles across the firm
  2. Manage relationships with recruiters
  3. Manage the recruitment process
  4. Coordinate the teams who carry out the final interviews

Employee Development:

  1. Onboarding
  2. Training
  3. Career planning/progression
  4. Succession planning

Management:

  • Design and implement effective HR systems/structures
  • Measure and improve employee performance
  • Manage staff issues; maintain employee happiness

Job Requirements

  1. Degree / Similar in HR, Business, Management, or related field
  2. At least 4 years HR manager experience
  3. Experience working with small businesses with a growing headcount across various departments
  4. Desirable: experience in legal, professional services and/or startups
  5. Desirable:experience of UK labour laws advantageous
