Job Description
- Drinks.ng is looking to employ an HR generalist with outstanding analytical and communication skills.
- The HR generalist will be expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict management skills.
- To ensure success, you would need to exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and training.
- You will ned to have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Administer compensation and benefit plans
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Recommend strategies to motivate employees.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
- Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related (essential).
- 4 years of experience as an HR coordinator (essential).
- Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
- Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
- Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
