Our core competence is MSME lending to unlock real capital for investment. Auto Bucks has a partnership with Alert Microfinance Bank as its subsidiary (‘’Bank’’). The bank is a company licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 2013 to carry out micro-lending business for individuals and entrepreneurs and deposit-taking from the public.

We resolved to become a group to unlock capital for deserving entrepreneurs and challenge the status quo of accessing funds and the difficulty experienced in doing business in Nigeria, and the complex procedure such as collaterals and lengthy approval periods involved in getting loans from banks. Job Position: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description

  • A Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role in an organization by aligning HR strategies with business objectives, serving as a bridge between management and employees, and providing HR support and guidance.

Job Summary

  1. As a Human Resources Business Partner at Alert Group Limited, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support the organization’s business objectives.
  2. You will work closely with business leaders and employees to create a positive work environment, drive employee engagement, and ensure HR practices are aligned with company goals.
  3. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles and the ability to influence, advise, and support all levels of the organization.

Job Responsibilities
Business Alignment:

  1. Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals and provide HR insights and recommendations.
  2. Translate business objectives into HR strategies and initiatives.

Employee Relations:

  1. Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolutions as needed.
  2. Promote a positive workplace culture and assist in resolving conflicts.

Talent Acquisition and Development:

  1. Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing and onboarding new employees.
  2. Identify skill gaps and develop training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities.

Performance Management:

  1. Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
  2. Provide coaching and feedback to employees and managers.

Compensation and Benefits:

  1. Assist in developing and implementing compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
  2. Monitor market trends to ensure competitive compensation packages.

HR Policy and Compliance:

  1. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  2. Maintain HR records and documentation.

Data Analysis:

  1. Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to make data-driven decisions.
  2. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Change Management:

  • Facilitate organizational changes and restructuring efforts, providing guidance to leaders and employees.

Employee Engagement:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  2. Organize employee feedback surveys and action plans.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  2. Proven experience as an HRBP or similar HR role.
  3. Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. HR certification (e.g., CIPM, CIPD, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  2. Demonstrated success in change management and organizational development.
