Job Position: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Job Summary
- We are seeking a motivated and capable Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with at least 5 years of HR experience to support key business units in achieving their people and performance objectives.
- The HRBPs will serve as a trusted advisor to line managers, providing expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, talent development, and organisational effectiveness.
- This role requires strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, and an understanding of business operations.
Job Responsibilities
Business Partnership:
- Build strong working relationships with department heads and line managers.
- Understand business goals and challenges; provide HR support aligned with operational needs.
- Support the implementation of HR strategies, programs, and initiatives.
Employee Relations:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee issues, concerns, and grievances.
- Advise managers on employee relations, performance issues, and disciplinary procedures.
- Foster a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Talent Management & Development:
- Handle recruitment and onboarding
- Participate in onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth assimilation of new hires.
- Coordinate employee training and development initiatives in line with skill gaps and growth plans.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the implementation of performance management systems, including goal-setting, reviews, and feedback processes.
- Support managers in handling underperformance and improvement plans.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to at all levels.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
- Assist with HR reporting and dashboards related to absenteeism, turnover, headcount, etc.
Culture & Engagement:
- Support employee engagement initiatives and surveys.
- Promote team-building, recognition, and wellness programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in an HRBP or Generalist role.
- Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, services, or fast-paced industry preferred.

- Good understanding of HR processes and labour laws.
- Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
