Job Description
- Partner with the leadership team across the business and work closely with them as they develop their strategic plans ensuring they are aligned with the People strategy
Job Responsibilities
- The HR associate will be primarily responsible for providing an operational, value-add and best in class HR support to the relevant Business Unit as well as driving and implementing strategic HR programs and initiatives.
- Responsible for providing skilled and appropriate HR support in order to achieve business results through effective working partnerships ensuring that all actions meet customer requirements and are in line with Company HR strategy
- Work with the Leadership Team of the relevant Business Units to support the development of a High Performance, fully engaged team.
- Providing support, in line with business strategy and company policy with regards to areas such as discipline, grievance, absence management, policy interpretation.
- Driving and supporting high caliber recruitment through effective resourcing solutions, in partnership with the Recruitment Manager.
- Generate and review Employee job description, analysis and job specification for staff members
- Carry out new employee induction and orientation, ensuring seamless onboarding for new employees
- Collation and update of employee database
- Assist in the Preparation and execution of Hr events, projects and retreats
- Manage employee relations issues arising as well as negotiations in partnership with the Industrial Relations Specialist.
- Drive and support business improvement and change management initiatives.
- Provide support to the Group HR Manager and manage HR related projects with regards Reward and Recognition, Employee Engagement, ERP, Talent Development.
Job Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to build and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Excellent knowledge of labour laws, employment legislation, HR systems, processes and procedures
- Proven negotiation, consultation and facilitation skills
- Experienced user of IT.

Salary
- N120,000 – N150,000 monthly.
