Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description

A reputable Insurance and Reinsurance Broking firm, a major player in the Nigerian Insurance Industry with a proven track record of excellence for over four decades, seeks to hire a competent and proactive Human Resources Executive.

The successful candidate must have proven expertise to drive excellence across all people management functions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Developing and updating job descriptions and specifications for all positions across the organisation;
  2. Designing and implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support employee performance management and organisational goals;
  3. Coordinating the Performance Appraisal process, providing feedback, and supporting performance improvement initiatives;
  4. Managing end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, shortlisting, interviews, etc.;
  5. Facilitating new employee orientation and onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration and engagement;
  6. Maintaining employee records, HR databases, and personnel files in compliance with statutory and company policies;
  7. Driving employee engagement, learning, and development programs to promote a positive work culture;
  8. Ensuring compliance with labour laws, HR policies, and organisational standards, while supporting management in decision-making on HR-related issues.

Requirements

  1. BSc/HND in Human Resources Mgmt., or related field;
  2. Five years of progressive HR Experience;
  3. Certified or On-going Certification for CIPM, SHRM, or its equivalent;
  4. Proven experience in employee engagement, talent management, performance management, and HR policy development;
  5. Broad understanding of Nigerian Labour laws and HR best practices;
  6. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR matters.
